DLP160CP: Can I use DLPC3430 instead of DLPC3421 as controller for DLP160CP?

Hi every one,

I saw the sentence about connecting the DLP160CP below.

As far as I know, DLP160CP's partner is DLPC3421, but I wonder if DLP34xx can connect to all of them.
And as far as I know, there is no EVM of DLP160CP at the moment, can I implement the configuration of DLPC3421 and DLPA2000 by referring to the schematic of DLP2010EVM?

Hello User,

The DLP160CP will only work with the DLPC3421 controller. You will not be able to just remove and replace the DLPC and DMD in the schematic.

Thanks john,

I have one more question, there was DMD_HS~ and DMD_LS~ in the controller's datasheet, but I know it as high speed and low speed, respectively. What is the exact difference between the two?
