DLPDLCR3310EVM: Framerate and Dimensions

Part Number: DLPDLCR3310EVM
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DLPDLCR471TPEVM, DLPC3437

Hi,

I would like to know whether the DLPDLCR3310EVM, DLPDLCR471TPEVM or DLPDLCR4710EVM supports 120Hz out of the box, and if so, at which resolutions.

Also, could you please provide the rough dimensions of each of the above listed EVMs?

I checked the user guides but was not able to find these information.

Kind regards,
Paul

  • Hi Paul,

Thanks for reaching out to the E2E forums for your questions.

For each of the EVMs it would be best to see what controller they are using and then the controller datasheet will have more information on resolutions.

For example with the DLPDLCR3310EVM, it uses the DLPC3437 controller.

The DLPC3437 controller datasheet then has the following resolution information.

As for dimensions of the EVMs, the optical engine measurements are in the DLPDLCR3310EVM user guide

To find the PCB board dimensions, go to the design files and there will be files that have PCB assembly drawings with the dimensions.

From these measurements, you can get a rough estimate of the overall EVM size.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks,

    Alex Chan

  • Hi Alex,

thanks for your fast reply. I was not sure if I could just use the controller specs or if there are some other parts of the EVM which might limit the framerate, thanks for clarifying this. I noticed the optical engine and pcb board measurements, but I hoped there was somethng more accurate, because the size of the EVM really decides whether I can use it or not.

    Kind regards,
    Paul
