DLPC3478: How to load pattern from internal memory after each run

Hi,

We are running the DLP for image captures. Do we need to set the DLP pattern for every image capture? Is there a way we can just load the pattern once and capture multiple images. It seems the pattern loading is pretty slow (10s ms), so we think it's loading from flash through I2C every time. Is the DLP put in reset mode or standby mode after an image capture? If we put it in standby mode can we avoid loading the pattern again for the next capture? How to do it? Thanks

Hello Jenn Li,

You can display the internal patterns continuously to get multiple image captures of the same pattern. When the internal patterns are running continuously via a single pattern set, they are copied from flash just at the start and then gets displayed without additional overheads related to fetching the patterns from the flash.

We can run a number of image captures using the internal pattern streaming mode, but we cannot run those those captures again after that without reloading the pattern. How to run those number of captures again without reloading the pattern from flash again? Thanks!

Hi Jenn,

Would you mind detailing the commands sent to the DLPC3478 and setup you are using to stream the internal commands including what is being done between each image capture?
