DLPLCR4500EVM: cannot project 21 images

Part Number: DLPLCR4500EVM

Hi Team,

Good day. I am posting this inquiry on behalf of the customer.

"I have a problem when I project 21 images (each one has 3 8-bit patterns include). I use Lightcraft 4500 GUI and firmware V4.4.0 to add more images into the firmware. The operating mode set as pattern sequence. and the source is flash. The exposer time is 27500 us and the pattern period is 35000 us.

When I set the total image number as 21 (63 patterns total) the projector only projects 60 patterns. And this situation only happens when projecting 63 patterns.

could you give me some idea why it happens?"

Please help to advise. Thank you for extending your support.

Kind regards,

Marvin

  • Hi Marvin,

What are the steps used by customer to display 21 images with 63 patterns as being described.

In GUI we can only select one image index at a time if source is flash. So sharing the above steps would be helpful for further analysis

Could you please share the .ini file.

    Regards,

    Akhil

  • Hi Akhil,

Good day. Thank you for your response. Please see the feedback from our customer.

I am sorry for the late email, the university prohibited my last email because of the .img extension. In the zip file, I change the extension from .img to .imgg otherwise I cannot attach them to this email.

We currently fixed the problem that cannot project the correct number of images. But still, there are new issue came. (The bytes number in square bracket read from the fourth byte)

Please help to advise. Thank you for extending your support.

    Kind regards,

    Marvin

  • Hello Marvin,

I am glad that you are able to project correct num of images. When you say 21 images do you mean 21 frames with 24bit patterns? Because the word image might be misleading here since with image source set to flash you can only select one image at a time but define n-number of patterns resulting different output per each pattern(frame).

Could you please share the packet data that you are sending using python

    Regards

    Akhil
