DLPC120-Q1: Did DLPC120-Q1 support DE mode video input or not ?

Hi Experts !

Customer using our DLP solution into their AR-HUD product, architecture is: SOC(Quallcomm 8155) -> TI Serializer(DS90UB941Q1)-> TI Deserializer (DS90UB928Q1)->DLPC120

Now the issue is DLP HUD can't show image which SOC sending, but it can be show our Serializer and Derializer pattern generation image ,

We find the issue maybe the DLPC120 can't support DE mode video format (SOC 8155 sending).

could you help me to confirm, whether DLPC120 support DE mode video input or not?

Welcome back to the E2E forums and thanks for your questions.

What do you mean by DE mode?

In the DLPC120 datasheet we specify input settings as follows. Ensure the SOC is conforming to one of the supported resolutions and settings.

Thanks for your reply.

It seems our DLPC120 only support SYDE+HSYNC+VSYNC mode timing.

In DE mode timing, it doesn't have HSYNC+VSYNC signals, only DE signal to select data.
