DLPC3436: PWM_IN and COM_OUT in TIDA-080009 (0.23 1080p EVM)

PWM IN +RC filter is used as the comparator’s reference voltage and act as “ADC” for DLPC3436 by harvesting COM_OUT base on one of the input sources that the MUX inside DLPC2005 selected and sent to the comparator.  

According  to TIDA-080009 (0.23 1080p EVM) reference design, PWM_IN is NC but COM_OUT is connected to DLPC3436.

Need your confirmation if DLPA2005 ADC function is still used? if no PWM_IN from DLPC3436, how to make this function work?

    Hello User,

    The ADC is not used in the DLPDLCR230NPEVM design. The only feature that may have used this pin would be a thermistor. There is not thermistor used with this design either.

    TIDA-080003 uses a DLPA2005 with a thermistor. This would give you an example of the required circuitry.
