         The firmware image we used is FWSel_DLPC3470_DLPA2005_pm1_i2c0x36_v8p0p1.img, it was take from Firmware Select Tool.

        2. What is the maximum current that you are planning on using for your application?

            The maximum current that we are planning to use is 1.5A.

What issue are you trying to address? Are you experiencing an image quality issue of some sort as a result of this? Some in rush current is expected as the leds turn on.

Hi Maximus,

    Such inrush current will cause a high voltage drop when the power supply battery has low energy,  this will result in the device failure even when we have some protection circuits to reduce the impact.

    We want to limit the transient current as the DLPA2005 datasheet decribed in Section 7.3.7 Transient Current Limit, but there is no interface to do this action with DLPC I2C commands. Are there any other firmware or approaches to achieve this goal? It seems there is another firmware to support this feature as the below link shown.
