DLP3021LEQ1EVM: Sequence Set Error Cycles as 100

Part Number: DLP3021LEQ1EVM

I am using DLP3021LEQ1EVM. I downloaded the relevant software programs from the TI site.

Sequence Set is not selected in the Image/Video tab.

I select the Sequence Set setting as high brightness.

I'm doing a rebuild but an error occurs.
Error Code: B0001
Description: Each Sequence Set selected must have sum of duty cycles as 100.

Composer Program : DLPC137 — DLP Composer for DGP    (https://www.ti.com/tool/DLP3021LEQ1EVM)

FPGA Configuration: DLPC135 — DLP3021-Q1 Composer Project and FPGA Configuration 1.2 (https://www.ti.com/tool/DLP3021LEQ1EVM)

I'm using DLP Composer 15.3.07 version.

I do the software installation as shown in the video linked below.

  • Hello Ramazan,

Welcome to the E2E forum and thank you for your interest in DLP® technology.

When using DLP Composer to build DLP3021LEQ1EVM project, please use integer numbers for RGB duty cycles, and a specific frame rate(25Hz recommended) must be specified on the Sequence Set page. Then, please try to rebuild the project. This would resolve the error that you got.

    Regards,

    Lori

  • I did as you said, and the build was successful. However, after installing the software, I could not project any video. When I tried it a few times, an error like this appeared. Isn't the memory reset every time the software is installed?

  • Hello Ramazan,

Yes, when you re-programming the flash, it will replace the existing flash memory stored in the flash.

Do you mean you were able to program the EVM once without error by using the same .img file?

For the error message you showed above "flash size exceeds flash device capacity", you can try to reduce the flash size, such as delete some of the images/video on the Image/Video page and rebuild the image file.

Also, please make sure you are in the Flash Programming operating mode when programming the EVM. After successful programming, turn off the power supply and set the operation mode to the Host Mute mode. Then, turn on the supply power. At star up in Host Mute mode, it will display the default content.

I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have further question.

    Regards,

    Lori
