IS DMD 4710LC is different from DMD4710AFQL? I am  replacing exiting DMD of DLP4710 with DLP4710AFQL

    Yes they are different, the part you mentioned is only for our display chipsets. If you are looking for an LC replacement you will need the following: DLP4710LC (DLP4710LCFQL).

    Thank you for your question.

    The DLP4710AFQL DMD is designed for display application and it works with DLPC3439 controller. DLP4710AFQL DMD is the replacement for the DLP4710FQL DMD. The DLP4710AFQL is based on new process improvement and does require a firmware upgrade.

    The DLP4710LCFQL DMD is designed for 3D scan and machine vision (light control) application and works with the DLPC3479 controller. The older version of DLP4710EVM-LC was shipped with a DLP4710FQL DMD. DLP4710FQL is end of life and should not be considered for your product development.

    Thank you for reply . Can you share the firmware so i can run both chip set i.e. is DLP4710AFQL and DLP4710LCFQL on DLP4710 EVM-LC Kit, Please guide me how to run DLP4710AFQL on DLP4710EVM LC Kit. As both chip have same working principle and same configuration.

    Hello Gurpreet,

    Unfortunately we will not be able to support this request. The DLP4710EVM-LC contains the DLPC3479, and the DLPC3479 is not compatible with the DLP4710AFQL. The controller, and thus the EVM, must be paired with the DLP4710LCFQL DMD.
