    Hi Gurpreet,

    As Ross has said in the thread you linked, the DLP5530S-Q1 can replace the DLP5530-Q1 DMD in the DLP5530Q1EVM.

    Let me check in with another team member to see if the firmware requirements have changed or integrated over the past couple years.

    I will send an E2E friend request to you in the case that it is something we should talk about offline.

    Hi again Gurpreet,

    I've talked with another expert on the DLP5530/DLP5530S, and I have been told that yes, you may use DLP5530S in place of the DLP5530.

    You might have to update the software, but TI may help you if you have trouble with that in the future.

    Thank you for the prompt reply. It would be very helpful if you could share both firmware versions, i.e., for DMD5530 and DMD5530S, with me. Thank you for your support

    Hi Gurpreet,

    I will send you a friend request and we may talk about this offline so that you may get the firmware. This may take a couple days to find out what changes may need to be made in the project file.
