Hi there,

I need my DLP NIR scan NANOEVM to work from the wavelength range of 700-2500 nm. The current working wavelength is 900-1700 nm. How do I modify that according to my usage?

Is there any code I can get to modify accordingly?

I don't have a great background in coding and would greatly appreciate if detailed information on this is provided.

Hi Meenakshi,

To get the full operable NIR bandwidth(700-2500nm) of DLP2010NIR DMD used in DLP NIR SCan Nano EVM, you would need to replace the optics not software.

Once you do design your optics accordingly then you need to perform calibration.

This is because the lamps, optical design and the detector used in the EVM are designed for 900-1700nm. Do note that if you want to operate at a broader band then you would be needing a much costlier detector and hence the EVM is designed only for limited bandwidth to keep the cost optimal.

Hi Akhil,

Thank you so much for your response. Is it possible to modify this wavelength range to 1600-2500 nm, cause it is out of question to do things exceeding budget for my research. I want this NIR spec in Nano scale for my research, that's the main reason I chose this particular spec.

Hi Meenakshi,

You have option to use high performance EVM DLP NIRscan and the wavelength range is 1350 - 2490nm. If you still want to use DLPNIRNANO EVM, then you will need to follow Akhil's suggestion above.

May I know how much it costs to "replace the optics". Also please, what it takes to "design your optics and performing calibration"?
