DLPLCRC410EVM: Issues Reloading Default Board Configuration on FPGAs Using DLPC410 EVM SPI PROM Instructions

Part Number: DLPLCRC410EVM
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DLPC410

Tool/software:

Hello,

We are currently experiencing difficulties while trying to reload the default board configuration on our FPGAs to utilize the API functions, following the instructions in the "Programming Instructions DLPC410 EVM SPI PROM" document.

Here are the steps we followed and the issues encountered:

Using 64Mb mcs File:

As per the document (page 11), we used a 64Mb mcs file.
When attempting to program this file using the XILINX IMPACT GUI, we encountered a program failure.
Using 32Mb mcs File:

We then tried the 32Mb mcs file, which programmed successfully.
We moved on to select the attached SPI and used the XILINX flash/prom option, selecting xcf08p or xcf16p as per our board's datasheet. However, this resulted in an error indicating the data width was incorrect or the mcs file was too large.
Using Multiboot Option:

We opted for the multiboot option and selected the 32Mb option.
This worked and programmed successfully for the xc5vlx30 FPGA but not for the xc5vlx50 FPGA. For the latter, we encountered another data width error.
We suspect that the issue might be related to our bit file not being correctly generated.

Questions:

Is there a way to obtain a correctly generated bit file for our setup?
What would be the correct module to implement as the top-level module to successfully reprogram the default configuration onto the FPGA?
Are there any specific steps or considerations we might be missing for the xc5vlx50 FPGA?
Thank you for your assistance!
