Tool/software:
Hi,
I am using DLP4710 and laser with wavelength of 405nm. According to the datasheet, the maximum illumination power should be less than 10mW/cm^2. Is it possible to use higher power?
For example, I want to use to pulsed laser with peak power =1.03366 x 10^5 W/m^2, pulse ON = 2us, pulse OFF = 8us.
Thank you!
Hello User,
Please allow the team time to look into your question and get back to you.
Thank you,

Hello User,
TI has no data on this use case. There is no certain input TI can provide for you on this matter. The team would recommend that you are mindful of heat dissipation requirements for the DMD. You would also be responsible to figure out if the duration of the laser on time does not damage the DMD.
Best,
John
