Hello, 

We need a Micromirror array system working for MID-IR range (5~12 um).  

1.  I know that DLP4500NIR works only for Near IR range. I guess that it is because you have a glass window on mirrors. Is that right?  

2. If I use DLP4500NIR for MID-IR beam, what is the most critical thing?  What is the reflectivity on the range?

It would be great if you suggest us any other options.

    Hi Yohan,
    Welcome to DLP forum and thank you for your interest in DLP technology.

    The DLP4500NIR and DLP2010 NIR DMD support wavelength from 700nm to 2500nm only.

    Ti does not offer a DMD for MID-IR range. The transmittance of DLP4500NIR DMD window will be very low for MID-IR wavelength.

    Unfortunately, I do not have any recommendation for you.

    Thanks for your comments.

    I expected that you do not have a DMD working for MID-IR range.

    Can you just make DMD without a glass window and inert gas if we request it?

    Or do you know how to replace the glass window on the micromirror arrays?

    Hi Yohan,
    An DMD for MID-IR will be a complete new product development. It will be a significant investment and have long development cycle.

    Windows are integral part of DMD and can not be replaced.
