Hi,
i would like to display images on the DLP4500 via HDMI.
But it can not correctly connect with my notebook. ( sometimes it can connect but sometimes can not before)
Then I test on the GUI "LightCrafter4500_v1.2.exe" , pattern mode can work but video can not.
How can i do?
Thank you for your help!
Kind regards,
Hi,
Welcome to TI E2E forums! Could you kindly flash the EVM with DLPC350 FW v4.1.0 and use LCR4500 GUI v4.0 to operate it? After doing this, kindly try connecting it to an HDMI Source and see if you can see the video in "Video mode". Kindly try with another computer also. If it still fails, kindly let us know if any error is shown, and try to read the source video information by clicking the "Get Video Info" button under the "Video Mode" tab on the LCR4500 GUI v4.0.
Hope this helps!
Thanks & Regards,
Hirak.
Hi,
DLPC350 controller has a firmware flash image that helps control and configure the internal hardware. You can download the latest DLPC350 FW v4.1.0 from here.
You can download the latest DLPC350 GUI v4.0.0 from here.
Kindly use the latest GUI to flash the latest FW onto the LCR4500 and try again.
Thanks & Regards,
Hirak.
Hi User,
We can confirm that the "Parallel RGB" setting works on LCR4500 GUI v4.0.0 and FW v4.1.0, and we are able to display external video using the onboard miniHDMI port on the LCR4500 board.
Could you kindly try another PC? If external video still doesn't work, there maybe some HW fault on the board.
Thanks & Regards,
Hirak.
