Hi, 

I need to buy one programmable projector which has 2160p display resolution something similar to LightCrafter 4500(this has 1080p resolution).

So what are the additional things like display controller, power, motor driver that I have to buy to make one projector using DLP660TE chip.

If there is readily available programmable projector in Texas Instruments which displays 4K resolution then please tell me.

    Hello Darshan,

    Thank you for using the DLP E2E Forums.

    Please refer to our existing DLP660TE 4k reference design to learn more about what components go into a DLP system. Just keep in mind that our reference design only highlights the necessary electronics that are critical for a DLP projector, there are other aspects in the design such as the optics and the power solution that are not fully discussed in the reference design.

    For display applications the highest resolution DMD we offer is the DLP660TE. For non-display applications your best bet will be the DLP9000 with a native resolution of 2560x1600. There is even an EVM for that DMD, the DLP LightCrafter 9000.
