DLP7000: Custom Part UV fused silica window

Hi Team,

My Customer would like to use DLP7000 (or similar) part with UV fused silica window to work with 245-250nm light. Is a custom order possible?

Can you tell us a little bit more about what you are trying to do to see if there are alternatives?

Thank you for this reply. I already forwarded this message to my customer, and their response is (1) can you provide why we don't support a custom device? Like replacement of the window? (2) Is it possible to sell them the device without the window?

DLP DMDs are fabricated in our high volume semiconductor process. It would be incredibly expensive to build custom variations. As Fizix asked above if you can provide more details as to the application and possible volumes we could look at building a DMD that supports 245 - 250 nm operation.

Regarding a DMD without an optical window, for reliability of the DMD MEMs structures they need to be isolated from external contaminates.
