DLP3010EVM-LC: I2C RGB LED Enable Register doesn't work

Hi,

I set "FALSE" to RGB LED Enable (52h) by using GUI,

but all the RGB LED of DLP3010EVM grow against my expectations.

It's weired, so I press the Get button on the following GUI and check the values,

but the values are always as shown in the figure.

(Regardless of writing ON / OFF for Red/Green/Blue LEDs).

Although the following figure shows that the green and blue LEDs are disabled,

the green and blue LEDs always grow.

Are there any precautions when writing RGB LED Enable (52h)?

As additional information, all other settings (e.g., LED current) can be overwritten by using this GUI.

What version of the GUI are you using, and what is the embedded firmware version on your EVM?

Thank you for your reply.

EVM Firmware version is "7.3.2",

and GUI Software version is "2.1.0.7"

I also sent WriteRgbLedEnable command (0x52) by DLP-PICO-DLPC34XX-API (v1.4) in Ubuntu,

but the result was the same as this GUI software.

(Other commands were correctly executed and reflected as I expected.)

Hi Hiroyuki Oka,

After reading your query I understood that you are not able to change the RGB LED currents as well as disable individual LEDs, correct me if I am wrong.

I tried to reproduce the issue, but for me everything works fine. Probably, your firmware got corrupted, I would suggest you to download a new copy of firmware and check whether you are still facing any problems.

After updating firmware, I could change the RGB LED currents as well as disable individual LEDs.

As you said, the firmware seemed to get corrupted.
