Part Number: DLPLCRC410EVM

Hello,

What's the difference between DLPD4X00KIT and DLPLCRC410EVM? I find that DLPLCRC410EVM is much cheaper. Which one is more stable?

    Hello Tim,

    We restructured the way the EVM's are sold, this change is a reflection of that change:

    Previously the entire kit (Controller Board, DMD, and DMD Board with Flex Cables) were bundled together, so that you had to choose which DMD you wanted, but nothing else was required.

    Now, you purchase the combination of the following to meet your needs:

    • Controller Board
    • DMD
    • Matching DMD Board with Flex Cables

    This allows you to purchase a different DMD and DMD Board with Flex Cables that can be run from the same Controller Board.

    You will find that the cost is very close to the previous full kit.

    Hello again Tim,

    I should mention that the DMD Board comes with the DMD installed.

    Also the prices have been adjusted so that building up an equivalent kit is quite a bit lower than before.

    These EVMs can be purchased directly from TI on ti.com.  If you start with DLPLCR410EVM you can see all the matching DMD boards.
