I can't drive I2C by "USB SAA GUI.exe"

Hi E2E support.

I would like to talk to I2C device by using HPA172 USB TO GPIO CB.

I installed driver and GUI application to windows10 PC.

Running "USB SAA GUI.exe", and I tried to work I2C by send button on GUI.

But ERROR message was displayed and I wasn't able to communicate with I2C device.

Seeing SCL and SDA when running, the signals remained "H" all the way .

I attached GUI capture when ERROR was displayed.

Could you please advise me?

Hello, we suggest to use the Fusion Digital Power Designer GUI with the USB-to-GPIO. https://www.ti.com/tool/FUSION_DIGITAL_POWER_DESIGNER

Then, I have another question.

I would like to edit a batch file manually, when talking to I2C device.

Then I would like to know I2C command line sequence format.

I attached file which describes how I tried my own batch file.

Can you teach me that format?

I tried FusionParamWriter in bin, but FusionParamWriter didn't run on my PC.

Hello, please use the format below for creating batch files. Fusion looks for a header to parse the file format.

Comment,Format=CSV; Hex=CoderUpper; BreakOutBytes=False; PEC=False; SMBusWordCommandBytesOrderAsLowByteFirst=True; IncludeBlockLength=True
SendByte,0x04,0x00
WriteByte,0x04,0x01,0x04

To use FusionParamWriter, the command line is like this:

fusionparamwriter.exe --address 4 --cmd-id 0x00 --value-encoded 0x01
