DP83TD510E-EVM: How can we confirm eye diagram after receive side of DP83TD510E-EVM?

Part Number: DP83TD510E-EVM

Hi Team,

My customer wants to know how can we confirm eye diagram after receive side of DP83TD510E-EVM.

As following picture, before entering receive side of DP83TD510E-EVM, the eye diagram was almost closed with 100m cable.

But after received side of DP83TD510E-EVM, signal was received successfully.

It seems DP83TD510E-EVM have some compensation circuit to recover the distorted signal, from following post.

https://e2e.ti.com/support/interface-group/interface/f/interface-forum/980089/dp83td510e-evm-does-dp83td510e-evm-have-function-to-compensate-the-received-signal-and-function-for-noise-immunity?tisearch=e2e-sitesearch&keymatch=DP83TD510E%2520equalizer#

Customer wants to confirm if the signal is really being successfully sent, so he wants to confirm eye diagram after receive side of DP83TD510E-EVM.

Please advise how can we do it.

For example, I think signal is recovered by internal equalizer, could you tell us the detail mechanism how signal is recovered so we can maybe infer the eye diagram here.

If there is any other ways to do it, please let us know. Thanks.

Regards,

Jo
