I have several questions on where and how to use DP83TD510E.
- The DP83TD510E is compliant to IEEE 802.3cg 10BASE-T1L, but what kind of network is the standard intended for? For example,
- Only indoor network
- Only in-vehicle network
- Outdoor network between buildings, or network between indoor and outdoor devices
- Generally, Ethernet such as 10/100/1000BASE-T requires galvanic isolation by transformer, but does the Single Pair Ethernet not need galvanic isolation?
- How can the DP83TD510E be used for a network that connects devices whose safety levels are different such as ELV (Extra-Low Voltage) and SELV (Safety Extra-Low Voltage)?
- Which surge protection do you recommend for outdoor network to comply with the Single Pair Ethernet standard?
