Hello interface team,

A customer of mine is using the TCAN4550, noticed it supports Linux 4.14 whereas they are working with Linux 4.9.

does it support Linux 4.9?

are there any updates and guides for Linux 4.9 for the device?

The TCAN4550 Linux driver has been incorporated into the Linux Kernel since that e2e thread was written and the Linux community is now generally responsible for support of this driver.

The original developer for this driver backported this, the link for this repository is here:

Since the driver has been upstreamed, unfortunately there will be no other support for this version or further backports.
