TPS65988: Configuration reverting back to default

Part Number: TPS65988

Hi,

We developed a device using TPS65988 as the USB-C PD controller.

I created a configuration project using the TPS65988 Application Customisation Tool. I programmed the onboard flash memory using the configuration project and an Aardvark I2C/SPI programmer.

The Application Customisation Tool reports that the programmation was done successfully. However, when I enter the debugging mode (Aardvark programmer connected to I2C2), it seems like the TPS65988 did not receive the custom configuration and is set to default values. For example, I selected the "87 emulation mode" checkbox but when I am in debug mode I see that this option is not checked. Also, when I try to change the configuration in debug mode, the value always reverts back to it's default setting after a couple of seconds. It's as if the TPS65988 is stuck to it's default configuration and can not be updated.

If needed, I could send you the schematics in a direct message.

Thank you.
