TPS25750: For configure the Registers

Hi,

Right now, i am going on the step to configure the Registers. For it's first time for me to configuring the PD controller, so there are some simple questions? Sorry.

The following blank:

- Could the R/W registers be configured only? Users cann't configure the RO register when configure the PD controller, only allow to read, right?

- What is the 4CC Task? when to use the 4CC commands? The 4CC commands will not be used when configure the registers, right?

The 4CC commands are used for if when users want to get some information or to load a Patch Bundle, then send these 4CC commands to PD controller, Right?

Hi,

The RO is for Read only and R/W are registers that you can write/configure.

4CC commands are command defined by host interface more like a built in command/task, they are listed here for reference or you can read more in the TRM link below.

These commands require an EC or a host in the system to write the command over the I2C lines.

There are I2Cw/I2Cr 4CC commands which you can use to access a specific register address.
