    Hi Gareth,

    Schematic feedback:

    1. We recommend a pulldown on the TEST pin.
    2. Do not enable SMBUSz with a pulldown unless a SMBUS host is used, otherwise the hub will hang waiting for configuration.
    3. Do not connect SDA/SCL to an on-board I2C bus unless it will be used, the pins have internal pulldowns and can impact the SMBUS/I2C bus.
    4. Functionally, the design looks ok but if the hub must past USB-IF compliance testing (logo testing) the following items would be needed:
    • OVERCURRENT reporting would have to be added to the application.
    • Any unused or permanently connected ports would have to be marked via i2C or SMBUS.

    SMBUS/I2C is not required for the TUSB4041 and is only needed if the customer wants to change the default configuration of the hub.
