TPS25750: Enable system after Power Delivery Bracket has been negotiated

Part Number: TPS25750

I am currently designing a product in which we are considering using USB-C as both the power and data port.  The device will be a sink/target, only consuming power from the host with no internal battery.

The issue is that we cannot enable the system unless a power bracket of >=20W has been negotiated.  Does the TPS25750 have a way to disable the power path unless the correct power bracket has been negotiated?  An external enable flag off the GPIO would be fine for this as well.

  • We are in the process of adding a feature that will enable a GPIO event when a contract of a specific voltage is negotiated.  This feature is under development now and will be released soon.

We do not currently have an option that will do a power based event option.
