please confirm what termination pullup/down resistors are required and what value capacitor coupling should be used for transformerless, capacitor coupled operation?

Hello Peter,

DP83869 has inbuilt termination and will not need extra termination on MDI side . Capacitance of 33nF can be used. Details of the capacitor can be found in the app note of transformerless operation of our other device :

Thank you for the prompt response Vikram.

Just wanting to make sure I fully understand.

At the DP83869 MDI end:

1) No external termination

2) No external biasing.

3) The only connection to the DP83869 will be to the AC coupling capacitor.
