Hi,

I have a IMX219 connected to the 953 evaluation board and that's connected to the 954 evaluation board. The link is ok, scripts running pattern generation on the 953 are working. when I init the sensor there is CSI-2 communication but I don't see the horizontal and vertical frames in the ALP tool. When I checked the CSI error register of the 953 I don't see any CSI frame errors.

What is wrong?

Hi Rob,

Are you certain you are able to communicate with the sensor and that it is outputting CSI data to the 953? You should also make sure that you are setting the ID and ALIAS registers in the 954 so that I2C data can be sent over the link.

Hi Nicholas,

I2C communication to the sensor is working. Just after the init I see data/clock from the sensor to the 953.

Hi Rob,

It looks like the data is being passed correctly to the CSI port but you aren't receiving any data. Can you read registers 0x73 - 0x76 directly to see if you are receiving lines? Also is it possible to use the PSTGEN on the serializer side as well to see if you are able to receive data?

Hi Rob,

Sorry this was a typo, I meant to say try the PATGEN feature on the 953. But you mentioned you already tried this and you are able to see data? If so it seems that the issue is between the sensor and the serializer. Are you able to read the 953 CSI error registers 0x5C through 0x64?

Hi Nick,

Yes, i see a "Multi-bit Error in SYNC Sequence - Uncorrectable" error online 1. I have to double-check the routing of this line.
