Part Number: AMC1306M05

Hi team,

I want to propose our AMC1306 to your customer, but the customer is asking for a comparison table with ADuM7702, or ACPL-796J or 798J or C740.

I'm not familiar with this kind of product so I need your help in this.

This customer need to decide with vender for design in with in one day. Here is the datasheet for other vender, please reference for the table.

I think it will be better that you can against all these parts, because all of them want to take our share at this account so the customer needs to decide the percentage.

Hi Aaron,

Another question, the customer also had mention that other vender had passed UL1577 double protection, but TI only had passed single protection. So I need to confirm that our product is weaker than others?

Regarding the UL1577 specification, the double isolation spec used has to do with the way some of the older isolation devices were made. They were made using opto couplers and for the most part, the LED and receiver are encased in a bubble within the package. There is a mold compound placed around that bubble and the lead frame formed the 'double isolation' that the UL1577 spec denotes. The AMC1306 would have double isolation from side to side but not through the package surfaces themselves. This is why it is listed as single isolation and does not necessarily mean that our device is weaker than the double isolation devices.
