at the datasheet on table 6 (4 level strap pins) the RX_CTRL strap input determines the mode of the PHYs Autoneg disable as mode3 = 0 and mode4 =1.
while at table 10 of the BMCR bit 12 which states 1 = autoneg enabled , 0 = autobneg - disabled.
we cannot figure what should be the strap mode in the our case - we want the phy to enable the autoneg function. - we prefer not to use the MDIO/MDC.
