Currently my board use DS90UB954/953 for my application, it's because shortage of DS90UB936/935, it will switch to DS90UB936/935 in the future. To save cost, serializer will not connect external oscillator, so I skip this configuration.
For the DS90UB936/935 datasheet, it show "3" Gbps FPD-Link III on the title, then I further compare the data rate description on the datasheet, it shows still 4G/2Gbps data rate when runs synchronous mode, the same as DS90UB954/953.
The only difference is that when DS90UB935 runs non-synchronous mode, it runs 3Gbps or 2Gbps.
Is the above discription correct? thanks.
