TPS65987DDJ: Can't sink 5V/3A from source TBT port

Part Number: TPS65987DDJ
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPD6S300A, TIDA-010047

Hi Sir,

We used the TPS65987DDJ for TBT device application(Titan ridge).

Our host side has 5V/3A PDO. Device side has 5V/3A sink capability.

Attached is our schematic:

 TPS65987DDJ schematic.pdf

It's my first design for TBT & PD,and I have some question need your help.

I appreciate your help.

Q1: If I link TBT port from host to device, Device side's Vbus voltage is 0. And I check CC pin status is keep low when plug in the cable.

Do TPD6S300A pin4&7 and pin5&6 need to connect GND for battery dead boot?  What item can I check next?

Q2: If CC pin has high-low level when plug in the cable and Vbus voltage is still 0. What item can I check first? Is my PD firmware setting problem or?

Q3: All power in the schematic is supplied through VBUS(5V/3A). Is it possibile do like TIDA-010047 PD Control board but used TPS65987DDJ?

If our schematic has some issue please let me know. Thanks!

Best regards,

Oden
