TPS65988DK: Firmware setting for Port control.

Thanks for your link. I saw this video by searching exist question in this forum before.
Our design is based on Gorilla Creek and there is no different from TPS65988DK to TPS55288. Except GPIO7.
But I used the Gorilla Creek default setting's firmware,there is no VBUS_A voltage output at all. Even +VBUS_A_PD don't have voltage.

I tried to build an binary by adjusting  "Port Control" column and it seems not to work what I want.
Could you please help me to check if there is any problem with the settings of PJT?
Please let me know if there is anything I haven't noticed.

Can you take an I2C trace when the board powers up on the I2C channel connected to the TPS55288?

We should see an attempt on the transactions. Does your ADCIN pins match the I2C addressing?

Thanks for your reply. When the board power up,I2C3 signal connected to TPS55288 waveform  as below.

I2C3_SDA is keeping high when the board power up.

 My ADCIN2 pin match up with the I2C address.

And Here is our design's block diagram. I want to make my question more clear.

Problem1: I2C3_SCL & I2C3_SDA didn't communicate with TPS55288.

Problem2: Cause problem1, TPS55288 didn't have output.

Problem3: VBUS_B_PD can source 5V to device.  After I connected to device, VBUS_B_PD will always switch on and off. The waveform shown as below.

Can you take a PD log if possible? The resolution on the scope plot is a little hard to see. Could you retake with the CC pins also?

can you confirm the TPS55288 is outputting 5V? I know the I2C3 lines are staying high but could you probe the TPS55288 output to confirm it is always 0V?

Are you able to read I2C registers on the TPS65988DK?

If you can use the GUI go to the top menu and select Debug->Debug Mode Then From the top menu again Debug->Take Snapshot.

Sorry, we don't have USB to I2C adaptor for reading I2C registers.

We have EVKT-USBI2C for USB to I2C adaptor which is maded by MPS.

Is this able to read I2C registers? I try to used but it seems that can't be connected. 

Or I need to used FTDI adaptor for reading I2C registers?

FTDI or Aardvark are also supported. What we really need to help you is any way to read the I2C registers. Let me know when you can find a way to read register and I will send a list of registers to read.

Oden, I am unable to check if this part will work exactly but if it supports USB to I2C it should work. Just connect the SCL and SDA connections on I2C1 SCL and SDA lines on the PD.
