Hii
I have Design TCA9548 PCB Board. I have forget RESET pin connect to VCC in this case device I2C is Not Detecting.
Any other way to get I2C Detection or Reset.
Thank you
While the /RESET pin is low, the device will not work at all. You must add a connection to VCC on all boards.
Hi Sandiri,
Can you elaborate if the reset pin in your design is completely floating or is it connected to a GPIO?
Regards,
Rosemary
Hi Rosemary
I have Design PCB Board for TCA9548 but i forget to give RESET pin to VCC and Reset Pin is not Floating through VCC or GPIO also.
Any other way to RESET because without Reset pin high I2C is not detecting.
I have seen datasheet we can go with power on reset (POR)
POR and /RESET are two independent mechanisms. When /RESET is low, the device is resetting regardless of supply voltage.
Hi Sandiri,
What Clemens is explaining is correct. A recommendation is to tie reset HIGH, otherwise it could just randomly reset during operation due to noise. Please let me know if this help and answers your question.
