Two questions:

  1. Is the DS25BR440TSQ/NOPB compliant with the TIA/EIA-644-A LVDS Standard?
  2. Another E2E post recommends inputs on the similar DS25BR204 are terminated with 100 Ohm resistors, even though there are some internally.  Is the same true for this part?

    Hi Myles,

    1). DS25BR440 has not been validated against LVDS standard. Therefor we cannot claim compatibility to this standard.

    2). This is a good design practice to gnd un-used inputs. It is possible, you may not see an issue with un-terminated inputs but having termination on the un-used inputs provide a more deterministic performance.
