HD3SS3415: Insertion loss and coupling capacitors in cascade connection

Part Number: HD3SS3415
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMUXHS4412

I'm planning to connect in cascade two switches "HD3SS3415" for the PCIe Gen3 interface.

1. I have a concern about the total insertion loss of the PCIe lanes that pass through two switches. Is there a real issue?

2. Where should I install the coupling capacitors in this case? Is that okay to install them as shown in the attached figure above?
