DS90UB949-Q1: 949 replaces 929

Hi Expert,

Our customer would like to use 949 to replace 929 dur to 929 shortage. They prefer p2p drop in replacement since it's already in production. Is there any software or hardware changes needed? And is it ok that DOUT1+/- are floating? Thanks.

Thank you for your question. The 949 is able to replace the 929 without any software or hardware changes.

Yes, if you use single link mode it is okay to have DOUT1+/- left floating.
