Hi Team,

With reference to the below E2E thread, wanted to understand if the Table attached in the thread regarding Boost settings is applicable for TUSB211 as well?

Also, can you share the updated table for the different AC boost settings on TUSB211?

Hi Mayank,

Yes, the table in that thread is applicable, as the top section of the table describes TUSB211 operation with EQ.

The TUSB211 does not support DC or AC boost. If you need a redriver that has AC boost, I recommend either the TUSB216I or the TUSB217A, as both come with AC(edge) and DC Boost, as well as a variety of improvements and inclusions for different use.

Yes, all the TUSB2XX line of redrivers are bi-directional.

I just want to make the question more clear. Is the gain bi-directional? Like as per the attached image, does both the signals going from D1 to D2 and D2 to D1 will have the gain compensation?

Hi Mayank,

Yes, the signal will still be boosted if it goes through D1 to D2 or if it goes through D2 to D1.
