Hi,

My application is to test unidirectional mode ie tx-> tx. I need help in the following,

1. enabling forced fiber

2. disabling auto negotiation

3. link speed setting (if any on registers)

I've read vikrams response, but need help in settings the above.

Hello,

This is a very unusual use case, so we may not have a fully validated solution. Off of Vikram's initial post, please write Reg 0xD4[15] = '1', and software restart the PHY (Reg 0x1F = 0x4000) and see if this helps.

(Tx EVM)

001F 4000

(Rx EVM)

01DF 0044 // 1000 Media Converter Mode

No packets received from the transmitter to the receiver. Kindly advise me what i'm doing wrong.

Hello,

I see that you have written Reg 0xD4 = 0xF01. This is not setting [15] as '1'. Please adjust settings to bitmask [15] as '1'.
