My customer is trying to add type-c support for their current cellphone, the LSI for communication they are using can only support analog audio output.
They want the type-c port to support 3 functions as below
1. If a type-c headset is connected to the cellphone(with DAC integrated)
LSI -> ADC(I think this would be necessary if the headset require digital signal, correct?) -> Headset(Sink device)
2. If the a 3.5mm jack to type-c converter and a 3.5mm headset is connected to the cellphone
LSI -> Headset(Sink device)
3. If PC is connected to the type-c port
LSI <-> PC(Source device)
Additionally, if a 5V charger is connected to the type-c port
5V -> Battery
Could you please advise CC controller solutions that are capable of doing this?
Please see the block diagram below I created for better understanding. Also it would help a lot if you could give some advice on this.
