SN65HVD50: Any issues using the Receiver/Driver IC as a buffer?

Part Number: SN65HVD50
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SN65HVD52

Based on the datasheet for SN65HVD50, the receiver and driver circuits seem independent of each other.
I don't see any reason this would be an issue, but want to double check before we order PCBs.

  • Would you anticipate any issues running a trace from the single ended output R (pin 2) to the signal ended input D (pin 3) to use this IC as a differential signal buffer?

Low frequency (100Hz - 360Hz).
8 microsecond pulse (+/-1 microsec tolerance for both width and timing)
