    Can you briefly give me an idea on what is needed here? Is there a failure ? And do you suspect a HW issue?

    • How did you isolate this issue to 947?
    • Can you confirm that you have done ABA swap?
    • Basically put the suspect 947 IC on a known good board and put a known good 947 IC on the suspect board?
    • If yes, what were the results ?
    • Can you confirm that issue gets worse at cold temp and better at hot temp?
    • However when you heat up the system and then cool it down to room temp, issue goes away?
    • Issue only happens at room temperature and when temperature ramp up to hot temp but no issue when temp ramp down to cold temp ?
    • On the "suspect" units have you tried running internal patgen testing from 947 to see if any issue still present on the display? This method is good for isolation 
    • Can you provide a register dump of DS90UB947 for a known good system vs. bad system?
    • How old is this application?
    • Are all these production failures?
    • Can you send me a clear image of the pull-up and pull-down network for Mode_sel0/1 also what modes are you intending to use here?

    INTB and SDA/SCL require pull up resistors

    Each pair requires external 100-Ω differential termination for standard LVDS levels

    Can you please capture your power-up sequence on the scope to show VDDIO/VDD18/VDD11/PDB/OLDI start-up order and timing as described in datasheet section 9.1

    Important - please confirm you are writing this code to 947 after power-supply/PDB is stable and after you apply OLDI input?

    You can choose timing source as internal or internal with external timing or you can do all external - It's recommended to check all 3 modes and report the results back and choose spec resolution or can use custom resolution then enable generator and you can either choose fixed pattern or can choose color bars
