Hello,

FYI, I'm using DP83869HM IC for 100base-TX 100base-FX in 100Mbs media convertor.

Note:

Op mode setting is 100Mbs media convertor setting, below are the setting image

Issue:

I checked the Op mode setting everything as per above image resistor setting, I did. I am using USB-2-MDIO Software Tool, I checked register 0x01DF it is showing 0041 but I checked in datasheet register value in 0041 that 1 means RGMII to 1000base-x is changed. How to I changed 0x0045 with any software reset is there? Please response ASAP.

Hi Rajesh,

It sounds like the strapping is incorrect. If you send me your schematic I can double check it.

Alternately, you can write to register 0x1DF to change the opmode to the desired value.

Hi Rajesh,

The schematic has the correct straps for 100Base-T to 100Base-FX. Can you check if the resistors R252 and R248 are populated on the board? Are the RX_D2, RX_D3 signals connected anywhere else on the board? Can you also measure the voltage on each opmode strap pin while holding the device in reset.
