We only have total capacitance of SCL/SDA for TUSB320.

Hello. Are you part of TI organization?
Can you please forward the question to related TI application engineers.
If input capacitance at SCL/SDA pins is not stated in datasheet, then datasheet is incomplete.
Regards,
Florin
Sorry for confusion, max C is 400pf for 100khz clk and 100pf for 400khz clk.

Brian
I don't understand how is that true.
What is the exact and fixed input capacitance (in XX pF) of the respective SCL & SDA pins ?
Can you please forward the question to related TI application engineers.
If input capacitance at SCL/SDA pins is not stated in datasheet, then datasheet is incomplete.

Florin
Florin:
I'm the application engineer for this product.
Unfortunately, we don't have input capacitance data of SCL/SDA pin, Sometimes not all parameters were tested /characterized based on plan./resource.

Brian
Thanks a lot for your support and expected reply.
Is it not possible to at least provide a very rough estimation of how much is the input capacitance on those pins?
Or is it possible to measure it?
Otherwise, how does TI prove the bus capacitance fulfills the I2C standard?
Many thanks!
Florin:
We can measure it. what is customer for this application and what volume?
regards
Brian
Many thanks for your support Brian.
Highly appreciated if you can provide please the approximate capacitance values after your measurement.
We are currently investigating a bug which points toward our I2C bus, one of the peripherals being the TUSB320IRWBR.
I don't have information about the volumes. As application background, the TUSB320 IC is used on two modules currently under development, both of them to be part of Protection and Control IED for substations.
