It mentions that it is an intermittent issue right? I think that would be fine with us. If we face any issue we will rollback to the working firmware again.

Do you think there would be any issue with the above approach?

Also just to remind we need remote-wakeup capability enablement as well, we tried by enabling it in descriptor files and saving the file but it didn't work for us. Please let us know if there is any other way or this is the only way and we might have missed something?

    For remote-wakeup, not sure why not work. Did you reboot system after change it?

Let me check that again and I'll let you know the behavior in sometime.

So the procedure to be followed is the below one only right?

1)Enable remote-wake up from "advanced descriptor files" and save the desc file.

2)Go to Options and select "Get desc file" and load the file saved in prev. step.

3)Reboot the PC and check the "advanced descriptor files" and it should have remote-wakeup enabled.

Is there something I am doing it incorrectly?

Also, since there are no Interface buttons(like for eg., on a mouse where we can click on mouse and do a remote-wakeup).How can we check the remote-wakeup capability on this device?

We are running a test in USB3CV where it requires a Remote-wakeup capable device(not a LS/FS HID devices, but SS remote-wakeup capable device).Since TUSB9261 does support remote-wakeup we wanted run that test using this device.

Meanwhile if the U1/U2 firmware is ready, can you please send the firmware to us?

Hi Brian,

Can you pls let us know how to trigger remote-wakeup from TUSB9261.From the TUSB926x flash burner we can see that the remote-wakeup capability is enabled. But how can we trigger the remote-wakeup for this device since there are no interface buttons?

We need this info as early as possible as we are blocked with our validations due to this. Can you pls do the needful?

      In the firmware, GPIO3 is configured as remote wakeup . Can you access to GPIO3 in your system?

We need this functionality to be enabled while running below USB3CV tests. since we don't have an option to connect JTAG to the peripheral,we are not aware how to pull-up this GPIO pin from firmware.

Can you pls share the procedure how to do so?

   After enabled remote wake-up from advanced descriptor editor of  fl ash burner, you need to send low signal for GPIO3 during CV test.

We use a switch on EVM for remote wakeup test.

We have tried this push button while running the CV test earlier and it did not work for us.From the Guide,I could see that it is fw dependednt.

The firmware we are using currently is the one which you had sent us which had u1/u2 enabled. Somehow I am unable to attach the file here.

Can you pls check from your end if it is supported or not?

   Looks we disabled remote wakeup in firmware since revision 0.95. We try to find old revision to try.

I see it got closed but I am not sure which firmware was provided and what exactly resolved their issue.

Just letting you know, incase it might help you in someway.

But please try to send some firmware with both u1/u2 and remote-wakeup enabled as soon as you can, because we are blocked with some of our validations due to this.

We came to know that GRL (one-of the certification labs) uses 0.99 firmware with both remote-wakeup and u1/u2 enabled.

Can you please have a look into that version because If the support is removed is from 0.95 firmware onwards, how can they enabling it on 0.99 firmware version?

No Brian, we don't have it we have the default 1.05 version which was present in the device initially and apart from tat we only have the firmware which you provided us for u1/u2 which is a modified version of 1.05 right?

We are hoping that your team will be providing this firmware, so that we can try it once on our device as well.

Also, we received one firmware for UASP support and one firmware for the u1/u2 support.

Can you please provide this 0.99 firmware with both UASP and u1/u2 support enabled in this firmware itself?(please check the remote-wakeup support as well on 0.99)
