Hi, can I use the 0603 chips for the input and output lines? The stackup has TOP to IN1 200um FR4, the differential lines are around 90ohm.
Thank you.
Luca.

Hi,
I would recommend size 201 especially given these are 10G data lanes.
Thanks
David
Ok, thanks.
Is there a standard configuration in pin-strap mode for a cable connected to a notebook in CT side and a USB A pen drive at SS side?
In the datasheet the configuration of the equalizer is not clear even more for this situation...
Thanks.

The SSEQ provides the RX compensation on the USB A side, you should set the initial SSEQ to compensate for the loss between TUSB1142 and the USB Type-A connector.
The CEQ0/1 provides the RX compensation on the USB C side, you should set them to compensate for the loss between TUSB1142 and the USB Type-C connector.
You will then fine tune the setting by doing the USB TX and RX electrical compliance testing.
The remaining loss will then be compensated by the notebook and the pen drive.
Thanks
