- Are there any other quantitative link health metrics besides Mean Squared Error which we can poll to get more insight? Specifically, we are trying to better understand the link health in real time. We can perform Ethernet characterization of a design in the lab. However, we are really looking to improve our understanding of the link in the field or during other testing environments.
- We’ve observed that RMII underflow status (0x0017 RCSR bit 2) is nearly always in the “underflow detected (1)” status. Is that to be expected?
