Hello,

It is mentioned in pin mode setting it is only optimized for FR4 traces, so what happens if we use any other PCB material will there be any changes in signal quality?

    Hi Nachiketh,

    The approximate CTLE boosts for the DS320PR810 hold true from data sheet Table 7-1. There will be some slight variation with different PCB material, but the FR4 approximation is relatively accurate for different PCB materials.

    Analysis can be done with DS320PR810 and the IBIS-AMI model of the device to simulate different channel characteristics - if desired.
