Hi
Further to the previous question, e2e.ti.com/.../4654773
We checked the schematics of the manufacturer of the camera modules and found that the capacitors of RIN+=100uF and RIN- =47uF
Can this cause errors in register 0X52=0X47, 0X55 0X56?

Hello Itay,
Are the RIN traces routed as differential from the SER to connector, or as single ended?
For single ended these capacitors must be difference.
capacitors of RIN+=100uF and RIN- =47uF
do you really mean 100uF and 47uF or 100nF and 47nF?
Itay,
For single ended applications this is the correct termination for RIN+ and RIN- in order to balance the differential driver/receiver. You can find example diagrams in the datasheet for DS90UB953-Q1
Best Regards,
Casey
But if the capacitors on the serializer are different?
On the serializer we use 33nF on the DOUT+ and 15nF on DOUT- pin, and the capacitors on the deserializer side are 100nF on RIN+ and 47nF for RIN-.
Do they need to replace the capacitors of the deserializer?
Thanks
Hello Itay,
this should be fine. You can use any value between 33nF to 100nF on the Dout+, and any value between 15nF and 50nF on the Dout-.
